ABC Saddlery Ltd was founded by former National Hunt jockey Alan Brian Coogan (ABC) following his retirement. Established on the principle of providing class-leading products at competitive prices, the company has remained a trusted name in the industry for over 40 years.

Today, the business is led by Alan’s son, Vincent. Vincent’s lifelong immersion in the sport began at age 12, riding out in Newmarket, and later progressed to race riding under both codes. This hands-on experience across many roles in a thoroughbred yard gives him a peerless understanding of the needs of the modern trainer.

Complementing his practical background, Vincent holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Sports Science. This academic foundation allows ABC Saddlery to provide a deeper technical understanding of product performance alongside equine knowledge. While the business has grown, our original ethos remains unchanged: delivering expert-backed products with a genuine passion for the sport.
